The 224 Valkyrie upper receiver is designed to fire .224 Valkyrie ammunition on the AR 15 platform. In addition to the 224 upper, a 6.8 SPC / 224 Valkyrie Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) and 6.8 SPC / 224 Valkyrie magazines are required.

It’s a long-range, performance-based receiver and round combination, capable of taking deer and other small game. However it’s a little too small to be lethal against larger animals.
